I am excited to be here with you at St. William the Abbot School. In Middle School Math class you can look forward to tackling new challenges. We will dive deeper into algebra, geometry, and problem solving in ways that connect to the real world. You will discover that math is not just about numbers on a page - it is about recognizing patterns and logic, and creative ways to solve problems.
In our classroom you will learn to explain your reasoning, work together on challenging problems, and apply what you have learned outside of the classroom. You will be encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, and teach others what you have learned. You will have more independence in your learning, more responsibility, and more opportunities to be leaders and role models for younger students.
I am looking forward to seeing how much you grow as you get ready for your next chapter in high school.
