Welcome to St. William the Abbot School!
It is our hope that your child’s enrollment here will be a wonderful, faith-filled experience. Submitting this application indicates that you have read and will comply with these important policies. St. William the Abbot School is transitioning to an online registration process. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we roll out this new process. All school and health records, including documentation of immunization, must be sent to the school before September 1, 2026. No student will be able to attend classes on the first day of school without this documentation.
The first 60 days of school are considered probationary for all new students. This is done to ensure placement at St. William the Abbot is mutually beneficial.Tuition is to be paid according to the tuition payment schedule. If for any reason, the tuition payment schedule is not followed in a timely manner, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to contact the principal immediately.

For any family new to St. William the Abbot OR a current family enrolling a new child in the school:
Note: Please be sure to choose "St. William the Abbot School" when prompted to select the school you wish your child to enroll in.
Upon submission, you will receive an email confirming your registration has been received.
St. William the Abbot School representatives will review your request. Upon approval, as well as remittance of the pre-registration fee, you will receive an email from PowerSchool containing the information you will need to set up your PowerSchool Parent Portal account or add the new student to your current account.

St. William the Abbot uses PowerSchool to update information on students returning to our schools each year. By replacing previous paper practices with an online process, we are reducing paper waste, improving accuracy, increasing efficiency, and saving parents time. Guardians will still need to contact the main office at the end of the year to confirm the student is no longer attending SWS.

1. The New York State and District Guidelines regarding age for admissions designate December 1st as the cut-off date.
2. Compliance with the New York Code regarding immunization against childhood diseases is followed. A record of immunizations with corresponding dates is required for admission.
3. St. William the Abbot School must be notified of any history of a medical illness, physical, and/or speech handicap.
4. A Registration Form must be completed and submitted online. A non-refundable $200.00 Registration Fee is required for each new registrant.
5. The student’s Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate must be presented at the time of Registration.
6. Any student who is transferring from another school must have all records forwarded to St. William the Abbot School.
7. IEP's and/or 504 Plans, if applicable, must be submitted.
Order of Acceptance (N-8) is evaluated each year and is as follows:1. Siblings of students attending St. William’s2. Active registered parishioners - oldest child3. Out of Parish - oldest child(Acceptance always depends on the availability of space)
