I grew up in Woodhaven, NY. I now live on Long Island after living in North Carolina for a few years.
I went to Catholic school from 1st grade through college. I went to St. Thomas the Apostle and then The Mary Louis Academy for high school, both located in Queens.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Marywood University in Scranton, PA, and a Master of Arts Degree in Reading Specialist from Teachers College, Columbia University.
I started my journey at SWS as a substitute teacher and became a faculty member in 2024.
Favorite Saint Mary the Blessed Virgin- many of my family members are named in her honor.

Welcome!
I am so excited to teach 5th and 6th grade ELA at St. William's. Reading can take you many places. We will continue on the path to learning and reading about different topics and identifying different literary elements and devices such as characterization, theme, plot and central idea. In addition, students will expand their vocabulary and spelling skills as well as hone their grammar and writing skills. Students will also partake in stations and centers to help reinforce skills being taught in the class.
