We offer a 3-day program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, a full 5-day program, and both 3-day and 5-half-day options in our Nursery classes.

The Fall Season is always a busy one at St. William the Abbot School! Students and Families are treated to a plethora of events, providing opportunities to deepen bonds and grow in faith. With celebrations such as our Living Rosary, Parent-Child Halloween Night, Middle School Color Wars, Graff Lab, Fire Safety Assemblies, Early Childhood Pumpkin Patch, SWS Night at Adventureland Theme Park, Halloween Party for Intermediate Students, Middle School Harvest Dance, Decades Dance Party, and Breakfast with Mrs. Bricker, our COMMUNITY is ALIVE with the SPIRIT! We are 70 Years Strong! We Are St. William's!

Please join us for the celebration of the Mass at 8:30am on Monday, October 7, 2024, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, followed by our Living Rosary on the Great Lawn. Our celebrant, Bishop Barres, will preside over the 6th Grade Peace Liturgy. We look forward to another great day at St. William the Abbot School! We hope to see you there!

The newest members of the SWS family were welcomed to our community with a New Family Social on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Members of the School Board, the HSA, and Student Council greeted new SWS parents and answered questions. Many SWS Faculty members also attended. It was a lovely evening! Welcome! We're so happy you chose St. William the Abbot School!

The tradition continues! SWS 6th graders embarked on the annual trip to Nature's Classroom in Connecticut, enjoying God's creation and time together. This once-in-a-lifetime learning opportunity in the great outdoors affords students the opportunity to learn priceless leadership, social, and critical thinking skills. They’ll learn about and among nature in a hands-on setting, all while practicing teamwork and collaboration. We keep them in our prayers for a wonderful trip!

Opening in 1954, St. William the Abbot School has served generations of families in the local Seaford area for seven decades, preserving and building upon the foundation of excellence started by the Ursuline Sisters of Tildonk. St. William's is a beacon of Catholic Education on Long Island!

Please join us for our 1st School Mass of the 2024-2025 school Year on September 11, 2024 at 9:30am. We remember all those lost on September 11, 2001 as we gather together for Mass. Following Mass, the 2024-2025 Student Council will be installed. God bless America!

School Opens on Thursday, September 5, 2024! We can't wait to welcome our students back to school! Our theme this year is "Encounter Christ's Presence!" Our classrooms are ready and we will see you soon!

Come celebrate the beginning of the new school year with us on Thursday, August 29th! The event begins with Kindergarten Orientation and an 8th Grade Meeting at 3:45 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend the 5:00 pm Mass, followed by Supply/Book Drop off and a Welcome Back Picnic for all families, new or returning.

EVERYONE TRYING OUT NEEDS TO HAVE A COMPLETED MEDICAL RELEASE AND CONCUSSION FORM. THESE ARE TO BE HANDED IN ON THE DAY OF THE TRYOUTS PRIOR TO THE EVALUATIONS. NO EXCEPTIONS. THESE FORMS CAN BE FOUND AND PRINTED FROM THE MIDDLE SCHOOL SPORTS PAGE.
